Hello! My name is Kyra Honeygosky. I’m a Pittsburgh-based filmmaker and actor. I have experience with writing, directing, cinematography, editing, and general production work. I have been lucky enough to flourish around immensely creative and talented peers whom I am honored to call my friends. I thank them for all of their hard work and enthusiasm.

I am mainly focused on working within the horror genre. Given that statement and this website’s design, you may assume I’m extremely serious and dark, but quite the opposite is true. I believe the most important part of filmmaking is having fun and never taking anything too seriously. If a film of mine makes you laugh - even when you’re not supposed to - I’m happy.

I have additionally re-ignited my passion for acting; immersing myself in the local improv community, and being in local/visiting productions when possible. I enjoy being in front of the camera just as much as behind, and I hope to continue working on both ends of the spectrum for the rest of my career.
